Romona house burned in 2007 San Diego wildfire
I was brought in a year after the fire, and was able to add $500K to the settlement for the dwelling and contents. I also assisted in collection of an additional $1.3 million from the power company.

Rental home destroyed in 2008 Santa Barbara wildfire
Farmers offered a $250K settlement, but I was able to double the coverage to $500K to cover the dwelling, contents, and loss of use.

Bella Vista 4,000 sq. ft. home suffered a roof fire
State Farm’s best offer to rebuild the house was $279K. To date, I’ve helped the owners obtain $460K. Their offer of $100K for the contents has been increased to $250K to date.

Bodega Bay home of a well-known surfer burned in December 2013
Working with owner’s estate, I increased the settlement for the structure from Amica Mutual’s offer of $139K to $446K, and increased the compensation for the contents from $20K to $150K

Napa 1,100 sq. ft. attached home lost in fire
The insurance company maintained that because the “second house” was separate from the main house, that the $99K policy limit that applied to structures other than the main house was in effect. I got them a settlement of $262K, because the main house and second house were attached via a wooden walkway.

Truckee house fire
Farmers originally denied the claim, and I got them a settlement of $400K.

Rental cabin in Burney seriously damaged from a tree falling into the structure
Carrier initial offered $14K. Upon my inspection by my contractor, I found that the cabin had been knocked off its foundation, and the settlement was increased to $45K.
